After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Tevfik Sözen completed his residency in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the same university between 2005-2011.
Dr. Sözen fulfilled his two-year compulsory service duty in Gaziantep until 2013. After his mandatory service, he worked as a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology Department at Hacettepe University between 2013-2019.
During this period, he worked as the official Fellow of the European Facial Plastic Surgery Academy for a total of 1 year, 3 months in the USA, 3 months in the UK, 3 months in Germany, 3 months in Izmir and Istanbul. During this period, he worked with Andrew Jacono (USA), Mehmet Manisalı (UK), Fazıl Apaydın (İzmir), Özcan Çakmak (Istanbul) and Holger Gassner (DE). After this period, he completed a one-year minor training program in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Sözen successfully completed the facial plastic surgery board certification in the two-step exam he entered in the UK in 2015.
Dr. Sözen earned the right to become an Associate Professor in 2019.
Dr. Sözen continues his studies in his private clinic. He is a board member of the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Academy. He is a member of Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Association and European Facial Plastic Surgery Academy. He gives lectures on nose aesthetics and facial rejuvenation both nationally and internationally.
